⭐K-12: The Oregon Invention Convention offers free STEM invention and entrepreneurship training for educators through the Oregon State University Extension Service, with online and in-person sessions in Oregon on August 6 and incentives for early registrants.

📚2nd-3rd Graders: Avoid the Summer Slide at The Dalles Library
The library is hosting 45-minute sessions in literacy, math, and science designed to keep elementary students sharp this summer. Registration is required.
⭐Kindergarten Families Can Boost College Savings with a $100 Bonus
The Oregon Department of Education and Oregon State Treasury are encouraging kindergarten families to start saving for their child’s future through Oregon’s Embark 529 education savings plan. Families who open a new account with a $25 deposit can receive a $100 education savings bonus, and schools can access free kindergarten graduation diplomas and family resources to help celebrate this milestone and share the opportunity.
