Strategic Impact Project 2.0
Thank you to everyone who participated in our interviews and completed surveys. Our team spent a day with other STEM Hubs across the state to analyze our state-wide impact! Our team is synthesizing the results, which will create our Strategic Plan to guide our work with intention & focus. We can’t wait to share what we’ve discovered! Stay tuned!
It's Oregon STEM Week!
Oregon STEM Week is happening this week! You can still host a private or public STEM event and share it with #OregonSTEMWeek! The Hub also provided free STEM Kits to 70 classrooms, directly impacting 1,500 K-5 students in the Mid-Columbia region.
Nearly 100 students from eight local high schools learned about promising local careers at the 2nd annual College and Career Expo on April 21st. The expo is a partnership between the STEM Hub, Career Connect Southwest Washington and Columbia Gorge Community College. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!

The Gorge STEM Fair will take place on Saturday, June 3rd! If you are a community organization or educational program, consider hosting a booth at this year's Gorge STEM Fair in Hood River!
OSU Wasco County Extension is hiring an Education Program Assistant
Do you love designing and delivering quality STEM learning programs? The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with youth, love learning, and enjoy teaching in an out-of-school setting.
Now Hiring “Teen Leaders” to support STEM and Juntos programming
In collaboration withWasco County 4-H Oregon, we are currently hiring "Teen Leaders" whowill be trained by Wasco County 4-H (paid time) in social emotional learning (SEL) and then matched with a local organization to support their work. Each teen will complete approximately 20 hours of training and up to 80 hours of work. Students with a diversity of STEM experience and from populations underrepresented in STEM are especially encouraged to apply.

Columbia Basin Care Scholarship for Healthcare Careers - Due May 25th!
The Columbia Basin Care Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for students who live in the Gorge region (Wasco, Hood River, and Klickitat counties) pursuing healthcare careers. Funds may be used for studies at any college, university, or trade school.
