Celebrate CS Ed Week with us! The Gorge STEM Hub will be guiding educators through a week of ready-to-go classroom activities featuring Day of AI lessons for K–5 and Cybersecurity explorations for middle and high school.

🏆STEM Teacher of the Year - GTA Nominations are open through Nov 21st!

Do you know a STEM Education Leader of the Year? This award will be given to an individual who has transformed STEM education (science, tech, engineering & math) in the region. A $1,000 donation to their program is part of the prize!

📆Deadline: Submit your nomination by November 21 at 5:00 p.m.

Awards Ceremony: The winner will be announced at Gorge Technology Alliance's GTA’s Winter Party & Awards Ceremony on December 9th.

📰Press Release: CTE Regional Advisory Committee Builds Momentum at Hood River Valley High School

The second CTE Regional Advisory Committee meeting was hosted at Hood River Valley High School. Educators, industry partners and community leaders gathered to strengthen the region’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The event included tours of hands-on CTE classrooms, a panel discussing employer-valued skills, and action-planning groups working to deepen connections between students, schools and local businesses.

🦅Raptors Take Flight at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center
Learn about the science—and survival—of raptors at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center’s Public Raptor Programs. Meet Liberty and Ferguson, two bald eagles who help teach visitors about conservation, wildlife biology, and the Columbia River Gorge ecosystem.

🌱The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum is Hiring 

CGDCM is seeking a Field Instructor for their SECRETS program, which teaches fifth graders basic ecological concepts through hands-on, place-based learning. This position would also assist with other educational programs year-round.
