📰Press Release: CTE Regional Advisory Committee Builds Momentum at Hood River Valley High School
The second CTE Regional Advisory Committee meeting was hosted at Hood River Valley High School. Educators, industry partners and community leaders gathered to strengthen the region’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The event included tours of hands-on CTE classrooms, a panel discussing employer-valued skills, and action-planning groups working to deepen connections between students, schools and local businesses.

Meet Liberty and Ferguson, two bald eagles who help teach visitors about conservation, wildlife biology, and the Columbia River Gorge ecosystem.

🌱The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum is Hiring
CGDCM is seeking a Field Instructor for their SECRETS program, which teaches fifth graders basic ecological concepts through hands-on, place-based learning. This position would also assist with other educational programs year-round.
📅Saturday, December 6th @ Hood River Valley High School
⏰8am-5pm (split into shifts)
🧑No experience required!
