🏆Dufur School District's Sarah Anderson Named Regional Teacher of the Year

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE), in partnership with the Oregon Lottery, announced Sarah Anderson as one of Oregon’s 16 2025-26 Regional Teachers of the Year! Sarah teaches 9-12th Grade Social Studies at Dufur School. Congratulations!

📓Community Collaboratory - Fall Meeting RESCHEDULED (November 4)

📅Tuesday, November 4 | 4:00–5:00 PM | via Zoom

Join a regional work group of community-based STEM leaders focused on out-of-school STEM learning. Our goal is for Gorge community members and families to recognize STEM skills as important for their children’s success and engage in STEM opportunities.

Together, we:

  • Exchange resources, knowledge and STEM Learning opportunities.
  • Share effective strategies for engaging youth and families
  • Explore new partnerships to expand our collective reach

👩‍💼PreK-12: CCL Field Trip Grants Now Open- Apply Today!

Thanks to support from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, this year's microgrants will fund field trips that spark student curiosity and explore diverse career pathways.

Who can apply: PreK–12 educators in Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, Wasco, and Wheeler counties
What’s covered: $400–$1000 grants for Partner-Led or Educator-Led field trip experiences (larger proposals considered)
Apply early: First-come, first-served—awarded within 2 weeks until funds run out
