If you are a community organization or educational program, consider hosting a booth at this year's Gorge STEM Fair. Our Hood River location will allow for more space and BIG ideas! The Gorge STEM Fair will take place on Saturday, June 3rd!

K-5 FREE Classroom Kits for 2023 Oregon STEM Week (May 8th-12th)!

If you are a K-5 Classroom Teacher or After School Educator serving elementary-aged students, register for your FREE Classroom Kit  from the STEM Hub, in honor of Oregon STEM Week! Kits are designed for grades K-5. Your kit will include all of the materials to practice computational activities each day of the week.

Educator Opportunities

Join the 23-24 Clean Energy Fellows Pacific Northwest Power Grid Cohort 

This cohort, consisting of leaders from across the Pacific Northwest, will find ways to reimagine how educators can build student access to and influence on the local energy landscape through building a customized Action Plan to strengthen the clean energy talent ecosystem. Participating teachers receive a $5,000 stipend and a $2,000 materials budget.

HS Science Teachers: 8-Week Online Green Chemistry Course (WA + OR)

Beyond Benign Certified Lead Teacher Cassidy Javner will prepare educators to integrate green chemistry principles and practices into their teaching through real-world sustainable inventions. Educators will learn how to develop safer labs and lessons aligned to local standards in an interactive online environment. June 12-August 7th, 2023.
